Following our recent, very beautiful Reiki One - Spirit of Equus Awareness weekend , we have pleasure in setting the dates for the next such course - the 10th and 11th September, 2011. For anyone who is interested in learning Reiki who happens to be involved with horses or other animals in any way, this could be just the course you may gain such benefit from, both personally, and for all the animals you interact with.

Day One
Usui Reiki One Attunement

A few hours will be spent after the attunement process of the day to practice applying Reiki to horses and other pets (free of charge)

Day Two
'Awareness with The Spirit of Equus'
with Ros

A creative, enlightening and relaxing day which will help process the attunement, with gentle exercises and horse totems to help bring awareness with the help of horses.

Day One - Usui Reiki One Attunement
Karen will also provide you with a full, illustrated Reiki One Manual

Day Two - Ros will bring a good group understanding and grounding of the attunement process through creative endeavour, as well as providing an understanding of how horses can help us become more self aware, and thus more aware of horses (and other animals)

Both days will bring the opportunity to share and practice Reiki with each other, (and animals should you wish to), in addition to being able assimilate this special process, whilst asking any questions you may have

Ros Farrell

Ros has devoted her life to healing and spiritual and emotional development and is a gifted clairvoyant. She is also an experienced healer and has practiced Reiki for over fourteen years, working with both humans and animals.

With a healing backdrop to all she does, Ros has read as a professional clairvoyant and provided spiritual counselling for many years. It has been a sincere privilege for her to help those in grief connect with those who have passed over. Ros has a deep love for horses. She facilitated the delivery of the UK's first awareness to horse 'therapy', (ie the therapeutic benefit of horses helping humans to develop, grow and to heal), and children, horses and parents from all walks of life have been deeply affected and moved on in their life. It opened the door for hundreds more to go on and take the concept on through their own evolution. Ros is now happy to present courses and workshops through The 'Spirit of Equus' Art and looks forward to sharing her unique vision of healing with the Spirit of Equus energies.

Ros loves to help people connect to deeper levels of themselves, as she feels when we are connected we can see more clearly, learn to trust our own inner guidance, finding reassurance, peace and insight within this precious moment of now. Ros feels horses connect with us in many profound and magical ways, often just waiting to share their love, their beauty and their wisdom with us unconditionally.

She draws from various eclectic spiritual pathways, all of which may help provide a little light along your pathway.

Karen Fullbrook

Karen Fullbrook was born and raised on a farm in Southern England, and was taught by family, farmers and grooms to utilise nature’s pharmacy as she grew.

In the early '90s Karen’s journey into holistic therapies developed further with her Arabian mare that no-one seemed to be able to help. This took her upon a journey of discovery which continues today as one modality links into another. Karen currently owns 3 Arabian horses. Until the summer of 2001 she used to compete on the Endurance Riding circuit to Gold Series Level (now called Advanced in the new Society).

Karen works with "energy" therapies in various ways appropriate to each animal or human.She has formally studied Human Anatomy, Physiology and Massage, Indian Head Massage, Human Aromatherapy, Animal Aromatics, Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki and Equine Shiatsu. Karen has been liaising with veterinarians since 1996, working mainly with horses. In recent years Karen became involved with horses assisting humans in their growth, healing and development.

It is her wish that, in time, man as a species will respect animals as sentient beings, with emotions, feelings and opinions. Sentient beings that feel pain and can understand more about what we humans think and feel than we give them credit for. As man begins to understand this fact and starts to honour the wonderful creatures of this earth then maybe, man will begin to honour himself and his kind.
